In order to make sure you do everything on time, I would recommend doing your assignments as soon as you get the chance.
For small assignments, try to get them done immediately either after class or when you get back to your dorm/home. That way, you know for a fact that you will not forget to do them later on.
If you are given a huge assignment, I think it would be best if you were to work on a little bit of it every day before it is due. If you are a forgetful person, like me, you can write each small portion you are planning to do down in a planner, for each day before it is due. This way, you have everything planned out so you won't have to stress out on the assignment as much as when you are trying to cram everything in in the last minute.
It’s best to reflect on what type of student you are before you begin to design a study plan. After knowing your quirks, you can designate specific time slots and allocate them as you go. I find Google Calendar to be an invaluable tool for organization. It allows you to sync the calendar on your phone to the calendar on your computer, allowing you to view and update it at any time. When organized, it is much easier to manage your time.
Best tips I could give for time management is plan out your days for a week. If you plan out what your gonna do each day for that week, make sure you follow that scheduled cause if you don't it just won't work. Plan out your day for homework, classes, sleep, eating, and social/entertainment time. You don't want to pack your whole schedule and not have leisure time cause then you'll end up being over whelmed. You just need to plan out your time, make a schedule that includes all the necessary things needed for college and for living.
Some of the best tips and practices for time management is first establish when things need to get done and in what order to do so is best to start with. It is best to have organization when balancing your time so that you wont be confused and all over the place and can have everything in order to achieve all that you need to do. Another beneficial thing to do is to set reminders for yourself so that you can maintain whatever schedule you have and make time for all that needs to be done, especially with a busy schedule. Not going over times set for certain responsibilities is also important with time management.
Some of the best tips for time management that I can give you is to be organized. In my opinion if your not organized it will lead to stress. For example you have a lot of homework to finish and you also participate in activities outside of school. The first thing you need to do is make an organized schedule in your head like what time you should start the homework, the activities and other breaks. You should follow those steps because those who have steps and are organized get things done faster. To me this will help prepare yourself for the future.
Time management is a tricky subject with me, just because for the longest time (until junior year of high school) my time management was awful. During my later years of high school, my technique that is now my standard go-to method is to create a schedule of everything that needs to be accomplished, and give myself a set amount of time to accomplish those goals. Of course, sometimes I get sidetracked, so I allow for some leeway here and there in these schedules, so even if I end up procrastinating a little bit, I am still able to be productive.
Some of my best tips for time management is to keep yourself organized,do not procrastinate, and use your time wisely. Keeping yourself organized is a good habit to have because when you are organized you know exactly how many assignments you have and when those assignments are due. If you are not organize you might mix up assignments and turn them in late. It is also wise not to procrastinate. If you have multiple assignments and you wait to the last minute to do all of them, you wont put in your absolute best and you will become overwhelmed. Finally, you should use your time wisely because there is only so much time. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. My tip is to have as much fun as you want as long as you balance it out with work.
“Time management” is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between specific activities. Time management is a skill that is hard to manage, but some people are better at it than others. The biggest tip I can give to somebody for time management is to prioritize your priorities. If you don"t manage your priorities you'll lose track of time. I love to manage my priorities it makes things easier to complete and manage.
One key point for time management is just organizing yourself. For example, if you have a titanic amount of homework and school activities you just have to organize it all and you will be all set. Do what I do sometimes and that is plan your whole day ahead so you know what you will be doing. What I do when I have small assignments is I usually try and get them done after class or as soon as possible. The best tip I could give is to manage your time properly and to be organized at all times. If you do this then you will be all set.

When it comes down to managing time, I find it best to write it all out on a piece of paper or in my phone this way I have an overview of everything that needs to get done. By doing this I can know how to properly distribute my time into homework, than work, than still get enough sleep, or if there is time I could go out, etc... I found it best to physically see all that has to be done so I can get a better understanding of how serious I'll have to manage my time.
